Different ways to reach our Hotel

You reach our hotel easily by airplane through the terminals in Milan Italy or Innsbruck Austria. You may pick a train to Bolzano, where we would be pleased to pick you up at the train station. Some smaller airlines serve the airport of Bozen directly. Also several discounter fly directly into Bozen/Bolzano airport during the main season.

By car or motorbike, you can travel to our location using various beautiful routes like:

• take the Brenner highway from Innsbruck Austria, take exit Bolzano Nord (North) and then follow the old Brenner road until you reach Blumau. In Blumau you go right up to Steinegg.
• or you may travel the old Brenner pass road down from Austria and take a left in Blumau up to Steinegg.
• another alternative is the way from direction Reschenpass, Ofenpass or Stilfser Joch, driving the Vinschgau valley down to Meran and then via the free of charge highway down to Bolzano. Aproaching Bolzano, just follow first Bolzano centro and then Brennero, Brenner pass road until you reach Blumau. In Blumau take a right up to Steinegg.
• one of the most used travel paths is over the Timmelsjoch pass road from Austria and through Meran down to Bolzano. You may also use the mountain way via Hafling, Mölten and Jenesien. You can reach that road taking a left at the town border of Meran, comming from Timmelsjoch.
• The travel over the Tonale pass road and Mendel pass road is also one of the favorites, mainly chosen by motorbike riders comming over from Switzerland.
• Some navigation systems with autoroute functions (e.g. Garmin) do not route to Steinegg via Blumau, but use the Eggental road through the village Gummer. Then you approach Steinegg from the South.

Lots of train connections are available down to Bozen in South Tyrol from various locations in different countries. Please check your local train office. We will be glad to pick you up at Bozen station. An alternative is the bus, who serves Steinegg each hour and can be accessed easily near the main train station. The busstop in Steinegg is just in front of our hotel.
